Looks like it’s a good week in Red Dead Online for players on PC, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. There’s some new clothing, Daily Challenge bonus, and even discounts. Players for the consoles mentioned also receive a wide range of additions.
The first of these new offers are the three new varieties of the Legendary Ram that appear to have made their way to Red Dead Online. There’s the black and white Gabbo Horn Ram, which has been seen in the dry terrain of Rio Bravo. The second one is the gray Chalk Horn Ram which has been reported to be somewhere in the Grizzly Mountains, east of the Calumet Ravine. Finally, there is the Rutile Horn Ram who, with its dark red horns, has been spotted roaming not only in Rio Bravo, but also Cholla Springs.
To launch the Rutile Ram Sighting Mission, simply visit Harriet. The players that complete the mission get a free Poncho of their choice. Players can also buy the Woodcote Poncho, along with three new coats from the Legendary Ram skin, in Gus’ Trapper Store.
For this week as well, Collectors get the chance to dig up three new Fossil Collections that are scattered and buried all across the frontier. These are Coastal, Oceanic, and Megafauna. To get a Fossils Map, players need to speak to Madam Nazar. Players can also get the Pennington Field Shovel and Metal Detector, if they don’t have it already. Anyone who manages to collect a single Fossil this week gets a Tarot Card, Lost Jewelry, and an Arrowhead.
Players also need to keep a lookout on invites to exclusive role-based activities, as all Role Free Roam Events are handing out double Gold, XP, and RDO$, all the way to September 21. By the way, the Condor Egg event is not included in the double rewards.
In addition, players that manage to finish five Daily Challenges this week receive a Reward good for five Legendary Animal Pheromones.
So what else is new this week? There are new items up for sale over at the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. catalog. There are also new colorways that are offered for a limited time only. Players can use any of these items in order to create and save a custom outfit. Doing so rewards players with a free Emote of their choice. The new items are:
