Rockstar is being Rockstar again. With all of the hubbub surrounding Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar has failed to mention a PC version of their game. The worst part is, this shouldn’t even be surprising.

As seen in the screengrab above from the official Red Dead Redemption 2 site, the only platforms listed at the bottom of the page are PS4 and Xbox One. PC, having long been scorned by Rockstar’s releases, again remains absent.

There’s weird history here as well. Most Rockstar games eventually see a PC release. Even GTA V made it to PC (before releasing on four different consoles first). And yet, to this day, Red Dead Redemption remains without a PC port. Why? We have no idea.

It could be possible, like with GTA V, that a PC version will release months after with some additional features. The number of PC gamers has increased since Redemption was released back in 2010, and the position of GTA V on Steam’s best-seller’s list might change some minds as well. It’s still a seemingly bizarre oversight, and almost feels personal at this point.

As for Red Dead Redemption 2, we’ll know more on Oct. 20, when Rockstar releases the first trailer for their upcoming Western. You can find the trailer on the Rockstar Facebook, YouTube and official website starting at 11 a.m. EDT.

So what do you think? Are you mad to see PC getting no Red Dead love again? Will you still be buying a copy for your PS4 or Xbox One? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
