Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, a stand-alone expansion to Uncharted 4, will release for PS4 on Aug. 22. This news, along with a new trailer, come courtesy of developer Naughty Dog.
Along with the Aug. 22 release date, Naughty Dog has also confirmed a $39.99 price tag. The price is so high because The Lost Legacy is more than just a standard DLC pack. This game will be over 10 hours long, and features some of the largest areas in any Uncharted game.
If you are unaware of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, the game stars Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross on their own adventure apart from Nathan Drake. Chloe must travel to India in search of the Tusk of Ganesh, and along the way faces problems from her past. Nadine and Chloe don’t start out as best buddies, but will eventually grow to respect each other as their adventure progresses.
If you’re interested in pre-ordering Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, you’ll also get a copy of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy for PS4. This pack includes all four of the original PS2 Jak and Daxter games. Those who pre-order will also get a PS4 theme designed by Truant Pixel.
If you purchased the Uncharted 4 Digital Deluxe Edition, Explorer’s Pack or Triple Pack, you’ll get a free download of The Lost Legacy. Unfortunately, you will not be eligible for any of the pre-order bonuses.
