World of Warships: Legends June 2022 update is now available on consoles. The Summer Update features new content in celebration of American Independence Day, such as a new campaign and new ships!
New Campaign
The Summer Update introduces the new Lucky Six campaign to World of Warships: Legends. The campaign will feature five weeks worth of missions with 100 levels of progression.
As with new campaigns in the game, getting the Admiralty Backing gives you a chance to get at least one new ship. This time around, you will have a choice between two new American ships - the Tier V Premium aircraft carrier Independence or the Tier VII Premium destroyer USS Black. Don’t worry because the ship that you didn’t choose will still be obtainable for 10,000 doubloons.
Here is a rundown of the additional rewards you can get with Admiralty Backing (2,500 doubloons) enabled:

- 20x Type 1 camouflages
- 20x Type 2 camouflages
- 20x Type 3 camouflages
- 24x Red, White, and Blue camouflages
- 137,500 Commander XP
- 2,850,000 credits
- 27,500 Global XP
- 26x Promotion Orders
- 3x Insignias
- 3x Commendations
- 750 doubloons
- 7x Summer Big Crates
In addition to the new campaign, the Summer Update helps you prepare for the new Tier VIII ships coming in the next main content patch with special daily missions. These missions reward you with a solid amount of additional XP and are available starting July 11.
New Ships of the Update
Aside from the new ships that are obtainable in the Lucky Six campaign, there are vessels that you can get by completing some special missions. The first is the American Tier III Premium battleship South Carolina. This USN dreadnought battleship is armed with eight 305-mm guns. However, this is not the best ship in terms of maneuverability as its top speed leaves much to be desired. Tier III South Carolina is obtainable via a free mission from June 24 to July 25. Alternatively, you can purchase it from the store between June 24 and July 18.
The second ship in the Summer Update is the Pan-European Viribus Unitis - a Tier IV Premium battleship that boasts an impressive 12-gun broadside and a new commander in Janko Vukovich to boot. Janko is obtainable in the store for 900,000 Commander XP or from the all-new Pan-European Commander crates.
World of Warships: Legends Summer Update is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
