Dragon Quest Treasures was officially launched on Nintendo Switch in December 2022. The game has players follow Erik and Mia as siblings go on their childhood adventure to look for the seven fabled Dragonstones. If those names sound familiar, that’s because they’re from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. In addition to the Standard Edition, a Digital Deluxe Edition was made available which includes three monster allies Great Sabrecat, Ruby Golem, and Icy Dragling, aside from the base game. This Digital Deluxe Edition also offers batches of Bestest Buddy Bullets and Omniheal Bombs.
The game is set in the mysterious world of Draconia with the focus on Erik and Mia, and these two won't be by their "lonesome" since joining them are their cute companion creatures, Purrsula and Porcus. Along this extraordinary journey, they meet monster pals which can be recruited as they look for those boundless treasures. These monsters have unique abilities that players can tap into to reach otherwise inaccessible areas and discover hidden treasures.
As Erik and Mia, players need to defend against monsters and rival gangs until they can return to the base and have their treasures appraised. By collecting treasures, players can increase the value of their vault and expand their home base, allowing them to build up their party of friendly monsters even further.
