There have been murmurs about the HTC One M10 for months but most details about the device remain fuzzy. The rumored device is often referred by the codename HTC Perfume, but recently leaked details may indicate that HTC’s next device may in fact be called the HTC One M10.
Dutch Tech Blog Tech Tastic recently uncovered a survey page on the HTC website, which includes the name “HTC One M10” among other known HTC devices in a dropdown menu.

In recent months, the HTC has been promoting its new HTC One A9, which features an updated design, much different than consumers are used to seeing from Taiwanese manufacturer. However, executives have hinted to press that the launch of the A9 does not indicate the demise of the M series.
“We anticipate that we’re still working on other flagships,” HTC executive director, portfolio strategy Nigel Newby House told iDigitial Times last August. “This will supersede the M9, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be an M10.”
The tech blog also uncovered an image, which it claims was taken with the HTC One M10. Extracting the image’s exif data, the guys at Test Tastic uncovered the device that captured the image is referred by the model name “HTC_M10h,” which is close enough to HTC One M10 for us to make a correlation. If accurate, the HTC One M10 may feature a 12-megapixel lens with f/1.9 aperture. This would mean that HTC is also focusing on improving the quality of its mobile cameras, similar to rivals like Samsung and LG.
At this time there has been no explicit confirmation from HTC about its future device plans. However, Last week, the Taiwanese manufacturer sent out teasers to press indicating a new product launch may be coming soon. The teaser features the shadow outline of a smartphone with a curved frame and the caption “Power to 10.” This too alludes to HTC announcing the One M10. The teaser does not include any more information.
Rumors have suggested that HTC may host a launch event for the HTC One M10 April 11 in London , but this date has yet to be confirmed.
