The Season of Celebration is almost over and that means it’s time to prepare for a new season. Season of Legends is arriving in Pokémon GO on March 1. Like the previous season, this one also lasts for three months ending on June 1.
Seasons is a new way to play and introduced during the GO Beyond Update. There are some in-game events along with exclusive ones related to the feature. During the Season of Celebration, Trainers had the chance to explore different regions which eventually led to the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto.
Meet the Legends
Based on what Pokémon GO has planned, Season of Legends is starting strong with several Mega-Evolved Pokémon appearing in Mega Raids. In fact, Trainers should already have an idea of what will happen this season based on the name itself.
Trainers are pretty much going to see many Legendary Pokémon making their debut in the game. It starts with Therian Forme Tornadus, Therian Forme Thundurus, and Therian Forme Landorus.
Appearing in the Wild
Same as how seasons change, various Pokémon will appear in different habitats. For example, those living in the city are likely to find Glameow or Voltorb. Meanwhile, those who are near forests may get to see Hoppip.

Special Research
Season of Legends is also introducing an exclusive Special Research. So don’t forget to talk with Professor Willow as he tries to learn more about the new Pokémon like Therian Forme Tornadus, Therian Forme Thundurus, and Therian Forme Landorus.
Finishing the Special Research allows Trainers to earn, among others, Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus Candy.
