A Splatoon live concert is coming to Japan on Jan. 30. And why not? Nintendo has a knack for creating memorable music to go with their video games. And Splatoon, is no exception. The 2015 hit included a soundtrack that helped propel it to several GOTY lists and awards..

In the Splatoon concert video, we see live music being practiced before two Splatoon sisters appear to dance. Check out video below.

The Splatoon live concert will be held on Jan. 30 at 5 p.m. in Japan.

While no details on whether the Splatoon live concert will come to the West have been given, if the concert goes over well in Japan, perhaps Nintendo will add more shows and maybe bring it around the world.

Nintendo has had success with live concerts of their video games like the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Godesses and the Pokemon: Symphonic Evolutions Concert, which we loved, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

The full soundtrack to Splatoon -- titled “ Splatune ” -- was released in North America in October of 2015 but if you haven’t been playing Splatoon, you should get on that. You can sample the music from the hit game below and let us know if you’d like to have a live Splatoon concert in North America.
